The Top 4 Questions Our Design Firm is Asked Most Frequently

What is keeping you from calling an interior designer for your home renovation project?  If you have questions, I am here to answer them!

Here are my top 4 FAQ!

FAQ #1: What are the best paint colors for any given room of the home?

The #1 most asked question clients ask: What color should we paint this room? I understand and never mind this question. Clients are excited to start visualizing their new space. Unless a client is only needing new paint for their existing space, we typically select paint colors last in the design process. After upholstery, rugs, bedding, window treatments, wood finishes, etc. are selected, we can then decide what wall paint color or wall treatment will work best to achieve our design goals.

FAQ #2: What does your process look like from start to finish?

After a phone call to ask a few preliminary questions, we start with an Initial Design consultation in the client's home.  This is where we gather all the information, ask lots of questions, get measurements and take photos of the space.   Once we have the Scope of Work approved by the client, we can get started with the design portion of the project.  We keep in communication all along the way and are here for any questions you may have.   It's a fairly painless, stressless process I promise!

FAQ #3: How do I know if I need an interior designer?

If you are wondering where to start on a home renovation project, who can do the work, where to purchase the materials from,  what finishes are most durable???  Do you feel overwhelmed by all the decisions and choices out there?   Or maybe you need help deciding what your design style is?  These are just a few reasons why you need a designer.    I love to help clients discover the best solutions for their spaces to function for their family and lifestyle.

FAQ #4: What finish materials do you recommend?

The best part of hiring a designer is that we have a large knowledge base for all finishes and we love to educate our clients.    Whether we are discussing flooring, countertops, cabinetry, hardware, lighting, etc. we have pros and cons for any finish.   Every client has their own unique set of desires or needs when it comes to finishes.  So, we help to narrow down the options which helps clients make better choices and speeds up the design process.
